The stay was quite comfortable as we were in town for the football game. Having a spacious room with a full kitchen was a plus, allowing us to prepare meals rather than eating out all the time. The staff were very accommodating and made our experience enjoyable. However, I did notice the seating in common areas could be improved for comfort. Overall, it was a great place to base ourselves for the game.

The gym was nice and I liked how clean the space was. My room had a full kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and all necessary kitchenware. Air conditioning worked well and there was a good selection of cable channels on the flat-screen TV. Free parking was a plus too.

I had a wonderful stay at Candlewood Suites East Lansing. The suite was spacious with a full kitchen, which made preparing meals easy. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities, like free Wi-Fi and laundry facilities, really added to the convenience of my visit. Staff were friendly and always ready to help.

The kitchenette in the Queen Studio units is handy, allowing for quick meals without needing to venture out. Also, the presence of DirectTV ensures a good variety of entertainment options, along with the availability of a DVD/VHS player for those feeling nostalgic.

The hotel is somewhat isolated from grocery stores and restaurants, so having a car is essential unless you don’t mind a longer drive. I found the pillows lacking, flattening quickly, which made for less comfortable nights. Additionally, the window screens had noticeable holes, limiting fresh air, and there was a distinctly dated feel with the in-room decor and amenities. For a two-person room, one side of the bed being just 10 inches from the wall makes navigating in the middle of the night a bit of a challenge.
